The National World War II Museum
For the history buff and those wanting to escape the heat! The hours fly by at this excellently curated museum, which features the European and Pacific theaters. You may want to plan your visit in advance, as there is so much to see! We highly recommend participating in the dog tag tracking experience to gain personal insight into the life of a real soldier. Take a break and get a bite to eat at The American Sector Restaurant - It's fabulous!

Meander up and down Magazine Street for wonderful, unique, local, and national shops and restaurants. Be sure to check out Magazine Merchants or the Scout Guide in your welcome box to plan out a few spots that might pique your interest. We don't recommend walking it entirely. Some spots are a little sparse, so you may want to take an Uber for a 3-minute ride to your next destination on Magazine.

For the young at heart, ride the oldest Flying Horses in America when visiting the Carousel Amusement Park, and be sure to stop in at Story Land right next door.
